Exciting changes to how you experience Security Recommendations in the Clarity platform

We are very happy to announce the release of our new and improved Recommendations in Clarity, to provide a clearer display of all the details of the changes which are recommended by our team in order to strengthen your security configuration. These updates enables you to approve, reject, or place recommendations on hold, and you are able to see a breakdown of the full implementation steps to help you understand the detail and implication before agreeing to a change. You can also seamlessly collaborate with our engineers through the platform.


Key Features:

  1. Detailed Recommendation View:

    • View all relevant details including urgency, status, assignee, engineer, description, benefit/risk mitigation, potential impact, pre-requisites, known issues, impact & effort, and timeline.

  2. Information split across tabs to make it easier to dissect:

    • Overview Tab: Displays all header section fields along with a high-level description.

    • Implementation Tab: Detailed implementation steps, progress indicator, and helpful links.

    • Comments Tab: Direct interaction with our team, for real-time updates and input. You can also add attachments.

  3. Take Action:

    • Approve, reject, or put recommendations on hold (with time-scale input for follow-up). If you ever need to Pause a recommendation which is in flight, you can also do this.

    • Note that in order to interact with any 'Action' button options, you need to have the 'Approval' permissions enabled in

  4. Be notified of new recommendations, and important updates to recommendations in flight

    • Configure contact points for notifications to receive emails when a new recommendation is made for you, or when there are important updates to recommendations which are being implemented.
