We're excited to announce that in September we are releasing an update to our Clarity platform, which brings a fantastic new experience of you incidents. Get ready for a streamlined and organised incident detail page that will improve how you view, experience, and manage your incidents in Clarity. From initial Detection, through Investigation and into our Recommendation, every detail is at your fingertips.
Content is now neatly organised into cards and tabs, allowing you to:
Get a bird's-eye view of the incident at a glance
Easily access more detailed information when needed
Quick-glance incident description
See a comprehensive timeline of key events, which you can filter and sort
Clearly show what you need to do next, with a recommendation from our cyber security analysts
See all the individual entities associated with an Incident
Our new "Notes" section replaces the old comment area
You can add comments with our new rich-text editor, allowing you more flexibility in your communication to us
You can upload attachments directly in Clarity
You can comment on incidents without changing the status of the incident, meaning you can now effectively make comments internally while the incident is assigned to you. Note that our analysts will be able to see the comments you have added, even if you choose to not send the incident back to us.
We're providing you with these new options in Clarity:
Independently resolve incidents, or re-open incidents which have already been resolved
Escalate an incident if you believe it requires urgent review or input
Send incidents back to Quorum Cyber
Request tuning or raise a Service Request at any part of the incident life cycle
While our analysts are actively investigating an incident, not all action options are available for use. This is to help preserve our incident workflow, but you can always use the notes area to add comments to the tickets while we are analysing and investigating.
As well as streamlining the most important incident information into tabs, we've also been adding additional information for you
Full detail of the background, and assessment
Direct links to the incident in your workspace(s)
Key incident metrics and additional incident data such as resolution, tactic, and technique.
Check-out our quick video tour of the new view!
We're super excited about this release and can't wait for you to experience the new and improved incident detail page, and would love to hear your feedback! It's designed to make your life easier and your incident management more efficient, but we're not stopping here. In one of our upcoming releases, we're adding a 'linked' tab. This will give you visibility of incidents that we've linked in a parent/child relationship. 🎊
This update is for cyber incidents only. This means that not all types of incidents we have in Clarity will have the new view, and content such as health alerts, threat hunts, recommendations, service checks, service requests, phishing protection incidents, or incidents in the self-service hub remain as they are today. Don't worry, these areas will be reviewed and updated independently in future releases.
