Using Entity Search

The ability to search by entity has been introduced to your Clarity portal. This guide is designed to help you confidently make the most of Clarity’s entity search functionality.

When initiating an Entity search in Clarity, follow these steps.

Step 1: Start a Search

• Select the ‘Entity Search’ Menu Option
  Click on entity search in the left navigation panel.

This will bring you to your search screen:

• Enter Search Criteria
  In the search bar, type in the partial or complete entity you wish to search

• Run Search
  After you have added the entity you wish to search in the search bar, hit enter to initiate the search. This will return a list of all incidents that reference the entity.

• Review incident detail
  Clicking on a result (indicated by the bolt icon) will take you to the detail view of a ticket.
