For a user to change their MFA option the user must first be logged in to Clarity and click on the settings button (small cog wheel in the top right corner).
2. The user will then be shown the settings overlay and user the subheading Authentication the user will find Multi-factor authentication that will show them a button (Change your MFA option) that they must click.
3. The user will be redirected to the below and asked to enter their code from the Auth App on their phone.
4. The user will then be asked to selected what MFA option they would like (In the following example we are switching from Auth App to Phone/SMS this can be used to also change phone numbers).
5. The user will then be able to select the country code and enter their phone number and then request a code text or a phone call.
6. A verification code in this example will be sent and the user can then enter the code to confirm the number they have entered in the previous step. After this is confirmed and complete the user will be redirected to the main Clarity page with the new MFA option saved.
